What exactly is a Head Spa?

What are the benefits?
Head Spa offers a range of benefits, including stress reduction, improved blood circulation, relief from tension headaches, and promotion of healthy hair and scalp. It can also contribute to better sleep and an overall sense of calm and balance.
Do I walk away with wet hair?
Absolutely no! For your luxary experience, we have Blow Dry included in all our Head Spa services. We do have a hair dryer in each room where you can use for any additional dry up if needed
Guests with hair extensions
While you are welcome to book, we highly recommend scheduling your Head Spa between installs or right before your "move-up" appointment when extensions are completely removed. Our Head Spa involves continuous water flow, rigorous scalp massage, and deep cleansing that can weaken adhesive bonds, loosen tape, or cause tangling. Furthermore, extensions prevent us from fully accessing and treating your scalp, meaning you won't receive the maximum benefits of the service.
If you still choose to proceed with extensions currently installed, we recommend waiting at least 1-2 weeks after your install/move-up. Our specialists will use the utmost care to be as gentle as possible. However, please be advised that The PureTime is not responsible or liable for any slipping, loosening, or damage to hair extensions that may occur during or after the service.
Can I combine The Head Spa with Enhancements?
Yes, you can often combine The Head Spa with other spa enhancements, such as facials, hydrating masks and herbal foot soak.
Will Head Spa affect my hair color/keratin?
Our ingredients are safe for all treated hair. However, if you've had recent chemical treatments within a week before your Head Spa appointment, there's a chance the color/keratin may lift during detox. We suggest waiting at least a week after any hair treatment before getting a Head Spa. Similarly, wait a week after a Head Spa before any chemical services to avoid applying chemicals to a freshly cleaned scalp.
Can I get Head Spa if im bald?
Absolutely! Head Spa welcomes everyone, including those without hair. Our skilled team can customize the treatment for a relaxing scalp experience.
Are you curly friendly?
Yes! Our team is trained to handle all types of hair. However, please ensure your hair is FULLY DETANGLED and Free of Knots before your appointment to allow for the best service experience. We have also custom products that we use for every hair type. Our hair station has supplies to accomadate curly hair as well.
